Here’s more information about the Children’s Art Project and their mission:
CAP’s in-hospital art classes offer pediatric cancer patients undergoing treatment at the Children’s Cancer Hospital the opportunity to let their spirit shine through while providing a respite from chemotherapy, needles and blood counts. What started as a volunteer project selling Christmas cards featuring the patients’ artwork operates today as a cherished non-profit and powerful million dollar enterprise with a national network of over 2,000 volunteers, 23 retail partners and almost 20,000 Facebook fans.
Most profoundly, CAP gives the young patients a sense of purpose and accomplishment, recognizing that cancer won’t get in the way of hopes, dreams and their futures.
SHOP. GIVE. DO GOOD. Merry Christmas!!!
