Hope Candle Sleeve

This “Hope” Candle Sleeve is quick and easy to make and can be easily altered to create several different sizes.  Use it for part of a centerpiece or to illuminate your walkway.

Materials

  • Vellum, 8-1/2″x11”
  • Flameless LED votive candle, 2″

Tools

  • Clearsnap Rollagraph Hope Design Wheel & Handle
  • ScraPerfect Perfect Printing Pouch
  • Clearsnap Ann Butler’s Berry ColorBox Crafter’s Ink
  • Pink ultrafine glitter
  • Krylon Preserve It!
  • Velcro Mini Fasteners

Basic Supplies

paper trimmer, scissors

Directions:

Step 1

Cut 2”x11” vellum strip and run Perfect Printing Pouch over surface.

Step 2

Ink up roller evenly by rolling onto ink pad.

Step 3

Start on one side and run roller across vellum.

Step 4

Sprinkle glitter over ink; shake excess back into container.

Step 5

In well-ventilated area, spray vellum with Preserve It!; let dry.

Step 6

Wrap vellum around candle, overlapping ends 1/2”; trim.

Step 7

Place hook side of two Velcro Mini Fasteners on one vellum edge and three loop side fasteners on other edge; wrap around candle and fasten together.
